Hi, I’m Milly Tupthim, an AHPRA registered psychologist and member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPI), currently undertaking the clinical registrar program. I hold a Master of Psychology (Clinical), Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), and have been practising since 2023.

I enjoy working with clients across the lifespan and have over 11 years of experience working with children across multiple settings. My therapeutic style is adaptable, collaborative, and inclusive. My clinical experience includes providing psychotherapy and assessments across private practice, community clinic, and primary school settings.

As an Asian-Australian psychologist who also grew up with European culture, I hold lived experience of intersectionality and am committed to providing culturally attuned and affirming psychotherapy.

I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and tailor therapy to each client’s individual needs and goals. Some of the approaches I utilise include:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E)

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed approaches

  • Metacognitive Therapy (MCT)

  • Schema Therapy

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT)

Outside of work, I enjoy watching sitcoms and following my curiosity by trying new experiences when I can!
